I already mentioned it to cbba, but maybe someone else has a some points to my idea:

I'm using geohunter on my mobile, and when I go to the map view and zoom out to a very high level, you can't see the specific icons anymore, but you get a view of shaded squares. The more caches in this square, the darker red it will become.

I like it very much. Could this be an interesting feature?
