07/01/2010 We are happy to release version 1.1 of CACH'EYE

All existing V1.0-users have been upgraded today, please simply re-import your caches/waypoints into the map either by running the new version of the GSAK-Macro or by directly importing a PQ-ZIP File in the map menu.

We apologize that our website currently does not contain a detailed description of V1.1 and that it is still based on V1.0. It is very time consuming to describe the changes and we first focused our restricted time budget on building an easy-to-use, feature-rich cachemap.

So please simply try it - hopefully most of the new feature are self-explanatory. If you have questions/problems reports/feedback, please use the Version 1.1 section in the forum.

New features

  • Caches and additional waypoints now can be imported into the map directly from your Pocket Queries using the PQ-ZIP-File or still by using a GSAK-macro (as in V1.0), Up to 3000 caches plus waypoints may be displayed.

  • A single cache may be imported and visualized on the map via a GPX- or LOC-File.

  • Caches and additional waypoints now are associated to each other. With Focus/cache the map highlights and zooms to all waypoints of a specific cache.

  • ToDo-Lists assist you in quick and easy route planning. Todo-lists are named and you can maintain several lists.

  • ToDo-Lists may also be printed (optionally with map, portrait or landscape).

  • With Focus/ToDo the map highlights and zooms to all caches of a specific ToDo-list.

  • Now you may move solved "Mysteries", "Multicaches" and "Other Caches" to corrected coordinates on the map in case you did not import this cache from GSAK.

  • Now there is an option in the GSAK-macro to export only mysteries when they have corrected coordinates, you can also choose to skip currently unsupported types (opencache, navicache ...) without warning.

  • GCVoteGrabber may now be invoked from the macro (recommended if you want to filter caches according to GCVOTE ratings on the map).

  • Openstreetmap also can be used as the basemap.

  • Measure distance tool

  • Altitude display (approx.) in Cache/Waypoint/Marker-PopUp

  • Metrics (km/miles) may be changed in account settings / information.

  • Displays waymarks on the map for GSAK-based datasets

  • Invoke the "Log Your Visit" page directly from within the map

  • Optionally load up-to-date GCVote ratings after invoking the map (disabled by default).

  • Better appearance on 800x600 screen resolution

  • Markers are not lost anymore when you choose another "Views menu".

  • Fade out of the Minimap is possible now

  • The popup window of cache/waypoint has a close button now.

  • Many minor improvements

CACH'EYE es un Servicio de Mapas personlalizados y gratis para los Geocacher. Cada Usuario determina individualmente el contenido de su Cachemap personal. Los datos seran tomados del GSAK y plasmados en un mapa sencillo de manejar.

Que Puede CACH'EYE?

CACH'EYE es personalizado:

Con CACH'EYE puedes escoger el Cache que te interesa. Otros Mapas te presentan habitualmente todos los Caches de un Mapa con Funciones limitadas. CACH’EYE apoya junto a las opciones basicas conocidas Filtra también una extención de las posibilidades del filtro GSAK.

Los Caches que he encontrado pueden diferenciadamente presentarse o apagarse.

Todos los Waypoints con coordenadas conocidas pueden ser visualizados. Asi se puede también visualizar por ejemplo las soluciones "Question to Answer" en un Mapa.

Los puntos en los caminos pueden ser corregidos, de acuerdo a las coordenadas originales o aquellas ingresadas en el GSAK. El Acseso está asegurado.

Marcas personales pueden ser agregadas a la carta. Esos ejemplos son ayudas del plan de ruta o del desarrollo de algún Nuevo Cache y pueden ser llamadas al Mapa con la ayuda de una navegación rápida.

Cada usuario puede definir individualmente sus perspectivas (Views) y de esa manera cambiarlas rapidamente y asi encontrar fácilmente la Región escogida.

CACH'EYE tiene funciones de busqueda avanzadas:


Junto a la busqueda de los Caches encontrados en el Mapa de acuerdo al Nombre…


pueden también ser buscados Nombre Propios, como Nombres de lugares, Montañas, Rios etc.

CACH'EYE tiene posibilidades avanzadas de filtro:

Junto a los tipos de Cache del anuncio vizualiztado puede ser también filtrados Found/Not Found, Corrected/Not Corrected, Difficulty y/o Terrain. Algo especial se encuentra en el filtro del GCVotes de valoración (Average und/oder Count).

CACH'EYE presenta las actuales GCVote valoraciones:

"GCVote es una ampliación del geocaching.com con el cual se puede valorizar y apreciar la calidad de los Caches y las recomendaciones. CACH'EYE autoriza la visualización de las valoraciones actuales en todos los Browsers. Se puede especialmente filtrar después de esas valorizaciones.

CACH'EYE puede visualilzar los Waypoints Públicos:

Donde esta el mejor estacionamiento? Que puntos principales se encuentran en el camino? Con el CACH'EYE pueden visualizarse todos las pistas nuevas, Estacionamientos… de los Caches.

CACH'EYE es global:

Yo puedo visualizar mis Caches en los diferentes paises y regiones alrededor del mundo. Asi se puede por ejemplo empezar una busqueda en el lugar al cual se va de vacaciones.
